So now that I am in the process of designing the life that I want, I have committed myself to becoming focused on doing EVERYTHING that it takes to get there. I've already taken the first step by creating my own job title. Hello, I'm Sharmetra Pittman, G.O.A.L. Model Consultant. I don't need a certificate or degree to be a G.O.A.L. Model. All I need is my God-given talents of listening, observing, talking, desire to help others, and my long (and steadily growing) list of life experiences to help me educate and empower others to do the same with their lives. That's it! Now of course I'll continue to research and utilize different tools and strategies that will assist me in helping others get optimistic about life. Hey, now that I think about it, I'll create my own tools and strategies (Note to self: add tools and strategies to the goal sheet)!

Hi Metra, It is great that you are striving to meet new goals and not settling for less. I think I am at that kind of cross roads also. Do I step out of my comfort zone, or do I continue at my current status? So know you are not alone and I commend you for making that leap. Hopefully many others will follow this goal model thinking. ;)

"A G.O.A.L Model Consultant"...I love your new title. And you will do well at it. The key to having dreams and succeeding in those dreams is that they are 'your' dreams and the life that you truly desire. If your dreams are things that you are really passionate about, you will be able to stick with them, no matter what. I've tried other ventures before only to realize that they were someone else's dreams and those ventures all fell by the wayside. It wasnt until I found my own niche, something that I was truly passionate about, that I was able to stay with it, no matter what.
So hang in there, G.O.A.L. Model Consultant.
Working my dreams right now and it is wonderful. Took awhile and sometimes I do pause, but it's time.
