Look in the Mirror

I wrote this as a note on Facebook on August 6, 2009.

This was the scripture from my daily devotional this morning. After I read it, I realized it applies to so many of my family and friends and their situations. Most importantly, my own "mess" was brought forth when I read it. Life is so short yall. Don't keep letting petty things, the past, other people, and other peoples relationships stop you from loving each other. Before we can get someone else right, we have to get ourselves right first. Reality sucks when someone else is throwing it in your face, so the best thing to do is keep a mirror by your side so you can always look at yourself before you look at someone else. My favorite saying these days is "God will not bless what he has not put together". No matter how much you want it, it just aint gonna happen. And God will only continue to put stones on the road that you chose to create until you follow the one that He has created for you.

Let Go and Let God.... You will feel much better when you do.... I love all yall, even u!

Galatians 6:1-5 (New Living Translation)

Galatians 6

We Harvest What We Plant

1 Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. 2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.

4 Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. 5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.

******* To help people get back on the right path, walk with them and show them the way.********
